Inspection

Propeller movement is slowed for inspection. Assembly separation is an explanatory view, not a factory assembly sequence.

About this reconstruction

A representative 1940 Bf 109E-4 with an angular framed canopy, DB 601 A and braced tailplane. Its 9.87 m span and 8.64 m length follow museum technical data; the wing-root chord follows the factory leveling plan.

The two-part instrument panel, oil and coolant tank arrangement, oxygen bottles and visible installations follow the E-series handbook. The supplied maintenance photograph guides exposed detail. The supplied G-series cockpit photographs do not govern the E layout.

Section shapes and local dimensions remain reconstructed. Engine bay and Structure reveal the same installed components. Moving engine internals, armament operation and landing-gear retraction are not simulated.
